RSI is a young company specialized in the sale of over 400,000 aftermarket automotive components. Their business model has both a regular retail component as well a membership tiers for high volume purchasers. Their initial website was poorly designed, with aesthetic, UX, and painfully slow performance issues because of poor database design. Instead of working to fix the existing site, we recommended a ground-up redesign. Greatly improved aesthetics, UX, and performance through a complete back-end re-design will keep users engaged, purchasing products, and coming back. Because of the site complexity, we implemented a new approach to development that had the client as part of the team, with weekly meetings to review progress, make changes as needed, and test the system. This approach has worked so well it is being used with all clients, allowing near real-time design changes during the build rather than after delivery.
